Steiner&Co. pioneered international awareness of Chinese brands. When conglomerate CiticPacific became an autonomous company, they sought a visual identity distinct from their Beijing parent, yet expressing their Chinese heritage. Steiner’s solution provides graphic consistency for a far-reaching, fast-growing organization. A traditional lantern forms the word CITIC, echoing the shape of the character for “China.” The lantern’s welcoming, vibrant red has positive connotations in Asia.
